Materials for local development work

The Programme team used the following to support their local development work with pilot sites:

Criteria for site choice

– information sheet on local work with sites: Hubs and Networks info sheet

– a framework of ‘statements of intent’ to focus longterm thinking and goals, which led to agreeing site ‘milestones’ to check if work was heading in the right direction: Candidate statements of intent for pilot sites ; example of site milestones and progress as at may 2012. This approach to planning works well with complex partnerships rather than using more traditional objective or target-setting.

The London site’s transition team used the Model of care to help the development of their local transition system and summed up their approach including useful aids to thinking about the challenge in this poster: London transition team poster

The Solihull site’s befriending and volunteering work used this poster to publicise the idea broadly with stakeholders: Volunteering poster solihull . It also used the Snakes and Ladders tool to develop conversations with stakeholders.
